The NFL heads into Week 5 of the 2019 season, and I think we all have a pretty good handle on who’s good and who’s bad. Our fantasy fortunes may not be particularly good at the moment, but there are not many surprises.
With most fantasy leagues starting their playoffs in Week 14, this week pushes us through the first third of the season for most fantasy football leagues. The waiver wire was many owners’ best friend the first few weeks, but things are getting a little light. But now that you know what to make of your roster, trading season is about to heat up.
Week 5 is going to be a busy one, especially given some of the notable injuries for which we’re waiting for a little more insight. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is in the concussion protocol. Christian Kirk is dealing with an ankle injury. Cam Newton remains sidelined. And Sam Darnold might be getting closer to a return from mono. What a time to be alive!
The week will feature plenty more news, and we’ll be tracking it all here. Feel free to bookmark this story stream and return for the latest news and analysis! Good luck as you continue pushing toward your playoffs!
