Aaron Rodgers listed on Week 6 injury report

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Packers first injury report of Week 6. We break down the fantasy football implications, although this should not be an issue for Monday Night Football.

The Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 6, and that means Thursday marked their first day of practice. We learned that Davante Adams is not optimistic about playing Monday, and we also learned that Aaron Rodgers was listed as limited with a knee injury.

Fantasy football analysis, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

We are entering the maintenance day phase of the NFL calendar. Veterans start to get more rest days, and if a player is not 100 percent, the team is going to play it safe. There can be some mind games with this as well for the opponent, but it also is often just maintenance for key players.

We’ll see if new information comes out in the next couple days, but you can expect Rodgers to play on Monday against the Lions. I suspect by Saturday’s final injury report, Rodgers will be a full participant and not listed with an official injury designation. We’ll hear more in the coming days, but this really is probably just a bit of, “Nothing to see here.”
