The New England Patriots released their inactive report for Week 6, and the news is as expected. The team will have wide receivers Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon active, while running back Rex Burkhead will be inactive. Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett is also inactive, although he was ruled out on Wednesday, while the other three were listed as questionable.
Burkhead is dealing with a foot injury that cost him last week’s game against Washington. Edelman is dealing with a chest injury and Gordon is dealing with a knee injury. All three were limited participants in practice all week.
Fantasy football analysis, Patriots inactives
The Patriots are in line to roll over the Giants. This would seem to bode well for fantasy owners of Sony Michel and James White if the ground game picks up. However, even if the Patriots blow this one wide open, I suspect we’ll see plenty of production from the passing game in the early going. Gordon, Edelman, and Tom Brady are all worth starting in this game. It will be a productive game for all major fantasy options on the Patriots roster.
