The Green Bay Packers released their final injury report for Week 6 Monday Night Football, and they have ruled out wide receiver Davante Adams due to his turf toe injury. The news is not surprising considering earlier in the week Adams had said he not feeling it yet and was uncertain when he’d be ready. He needs the ligaments to fully heal, and it sounds like that will take some more time.

In the meantime, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will be the two wide receivers to watch for Green Bay when they face Detroit. Neither had a big game in Week 5, but both are intriguing flex or WR2 starts for Monday.

The Packers wrapped up their Friday Week 6 practice, and wide receiver Davante Adams remains sidelined with his turf toe injury. After missing Week 5, he has now sat out two straight days of practice as the Packers prepare to face the Lions on Monday Night Football. The Packers have one more day of practice on Saturday, but it does not look like Adams will be able to play on Monday. If you are dealing with a roster decision Sunday morning, your best bet is likely going to be to sit Adams for Week 6 fantasy football.

The Green Bay Packers may be without wide receiver Davante Adams for a little while longer due to a turf toe injury. The star pass-catcher has yet to return to practice in Week 6, after missing Week 5, and he told Packers.com he is uncertain when he’ll return.

“We’re just really trying to pace it at this point,” Adams said. “I can’t really tell you when I’m going to play. I know it doesn’t feel how I want it to feel at the moment, but we definitely have time.”

Adams talked about the ligament damage involved in the injury and that he is unable to tough it out because the ligaments have to heal first. He talked about making strides, but needing to make more before he can play again.

Fantasy football analysis, Packers WR Davante Adams

Adams is not optimistic about playing in Week 6, and these comments reinforce that. The Packers host the Lions on Monday Night Football, which means even if he is a game-time decision, fantasy owners will have to make an early decision. If you have Marquez Valdes-Scantling or Geronimo Allison to handcuff to Adams, you’re in a better position. If not, and you don’t have other Lions options for Monday, you’ll have to make the call on Sunday. At this point, your best bet will be to sit him this week.
