What to do with Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams in Week 6 fantasy football

The Packers welcome back running back Jamaal Williams for Week 6. We break down the fantasy football implications for Williams and Aaron Jones on Monday Night Football.

The Green Bay Packers got a monster game from running back Aaron Jones in Week 5, and now they get backfield reinforcements in Week 6. The team will welcome back Jamaal Williams, who missed Week 5 with a concussion. He suffered the injury on a late hit and did not get back to practice until this week. He put in three straight full participation practices and was cleared out of the concussion protocol.

Jones had little trouble slicing through the Cowboys defense last week. He rushed for 107 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 5.6 yards per carry. He also led the team with seven receptions for 75 yards as he did a little bit of everything with Davante Adams sidelined with a toe injury.

A four-touchdown, 107-yard rushing performance should be enough to lock down a starting job. And Jones probably gets the bulk of carries on Monday. However, this is at least a moderately curious situation because of Week 3. Williams had 14 touches to Jones’ 11 that week. He suffered his concussion early in the team’s Week 4 game, and the rest is history. Is it enough for Jones to get the workhorse workload, or do we see Matt LaFleur mix it up and get Williams a decent amount of work? I think we see Jones get the starter workload, but be tread lightly Jones owners.
