The Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers are wrapping up Sunday Night Football, but we’ve had a couple injuries of note in the second half. Steelers running back James Conner suffered a quadricep injury and is officially questionable to return. Conner had 16 rushes for 41 yards and a touchdown, and seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.
A little later shortly before the two-minute warning, Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams came up hobbled after a play and limped to the sideline to be evaluated. Williams finished the game with five receptions for 72 yards.
If Conner does not return and Pittsburgh needs to run the ball, Benny Snell is the primary backup with Jaylen Samuels sidelined for the next month. Snell finished Sunday’s game with 17 rushes for 75 yards and one catch for 14 yards.
Meanwhile, the Chargers are leaning on tight end Hunter Henry in their passing game with Keenan Allen relatively quiet tonight. In his return from a four-week injury absence, Henry has eight receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
