Top 50 RBs in Week 7 PPR leagues

Breaking down the top-50 RB plays in PPR format for NFL Week 7. Injuries move some folks around, and the bye week changes our top name.

Welcome to Week 7, and we’re back with weekly fantasy football rankings to get you ready for your PPR leagues. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, and Pittsburgh Steelers are on bye, which removes some big names from the slate. No Christian McCaffrey, no Nick Chubb, no James Conner, and no Ronald Jones.

With McCaffrey on bye, we have a new RB atop the rankings — but it may not be who you think. Some big names have really tough matchups, which leaves Leonard Fournette in the best overall spot. He has been a lock for 25-plus touches lately, and has more of a role in the passing game. The Bengals rush defense is pathetic, and should result in a big game for the only guy touching the ball out of that backfield.

Chris Carson is someone else I’m super high on, as he has a similar role to Fournette, and is overlooked. He has 26 or more touches in three straight games, and Baltimore’s defense is overrated Carson is a top-end RB1.

These guys slide the usual names, like Alvin Kamara and Ezekiel Elliott down the list. But Kamara and ‘Zeke have brutal matchups for RBs, going against the Bears and Eagles, respectively. Saquon Barkley also returns to the rankings, assuming he’s able to return from his ankle injury, he steps into a fantastic matchup.
