2019 has not gone according to plan for the Eagles. They are just 3-3 to open the year, and coming off of a blowout loss to the Vikings in Week 6. However, the division is wide open right now, and playoff hopes are very much alive entering this Week 7 contest with Dallas. Philly has been excellent on offense this year, ranking sixth in Football Outsiders offensive DVOA. This despite ranking 24th in yards per play on the year. The Eagles have faced a relatively tough offensive schedule, which is accounted for in DVOA. Defensively, they have not been nearly as good, particularly against the pass, where they rank 19th in DVOA.

Dallas is not playing very well of late either. After starting the season 3-0, the Cowboys have now lost three straight contests against the Saints, Packers, and Jets. The injury bug is biting them bad. Tyron Smith and La’El Collins both missed the Week 6 game, and Smith has been injured longer than that. Without the same offensive line play, Dak Prescott has struggled, throwing just two touchdowns and four interceptions the past three weeks. He may also be without Amari Cooper this week, as he deals with a painful quad injury. Dallas has the capability to ravage this Eagles secondary, but will need all hands on deck if they want to rise to the top of the NFC East.
