The Sunday kickoffs for Week 7 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 7 DFS lineups. In Week 6, a lot of the usual suspects dominated, but we had some under-the-radar names step up in a big way to key folks to victory.
Obviously, you would love to fill your daily lineup with Pro Bowlers from top to bottom, but spending money on a top-tier player in one spot leaves you potentially scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.
So here are three running backs that could provide the best value for Week 7. Values from DraftKings.

Dalvin Cook (MIN) - $8,000
Kirk Cousins played lights out last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, throwing for 333 yards and four touchdowns. This meant less work for Dalvin Cook and the Minnesota Vikings rushing attack, as Cook only added 41 yards of rushing yards on the game (although he did score a touchdown). This week, the Vikings play a secondary in the Detroit Lions that isn’t struggling quite as much as the group in Philly, so look for the Vikings to return to their rushing ways in Week 7. Take advantage of Cook’s price tag from his down week last week, because it’s likely the only time this season it’s going to happen.
Mark Ingram (BAL) - $6,600
Speaking of favorable matchups, the Baltimore Ravens are playing in Seattle to face the Seahawks and the 6th-worst defense against opposing running backs this year. In a game where rain is likely to be a factor, look for both teams to try to find success on the ground rather than through the air. I like my chances with the Mark Ingram and Lamar Jackson side of that battle this week.
Latavius Murray (NO) - $5,100
Now that the New Orleans Saints have officially ruled Alvin Kamara out for their Week 7 matchup against the Chicago Bears, that means it will be Latavius Murray’s time to shine for the first time in 2019. One week after the vaunted Bears defense gave up 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Josh Jacobs of the Oakland Raiders, you can bet that Sean Payton is going to try to rely in Latavius Murray to carry the New Orleans offense that will also be without Jared Cook and Drew Brees.
