The Jacksonville Jaguars have received a huge boost from rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II, winning two of his three starts since replacing Nick Foles in the lineup. However, he was added to the team’s injury report on Wednesday with a knee issue. It is not believed to be a serious injury, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, but it will be something to monitor the rest of this week.

Minshew threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns this past week, and while his completion percentage dropped, he made some key plays late in a huge road comeback against Denver. He has at least two touchdowns in three of his four appearances heading into Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy football analysis of Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew

Minshew is on a roll with two straight wins and some impressive moves in the pocket. However, he entered this week owned in only 17.2 percent of ESPN traditional fantasy leagues and can be had for merely $5,300 in DraftKings games. He has been a consistent producer, with similar fantasy totals each week. Starting in Week 1, he’s scored 18.6, 17.12, 17.96, and 16.72 DKFP. These are not spectacular numbers, but they’re consistently solid. If you’re looking for a decent, cheap addition, you could do a lot worse than the Jaguars sensation.
