The Indianapolis Colts don’t have a status for star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton in Week 5, and they also have a big question about running back Marlon Mack’s ankle. Mack injured his ankle in the second half of the team’s Week 4 loss to the Oakland Raiders, and did not practice on Wednesday, according to Colts beat writer Zak Keefer.

Mack finished the game with 39 rushing yards on 11 carries, continuing a trend of up and down performances through four weeks. He had 174 total yards and a touchdown in Week 1 and 88 total yards and a touchdown in Week 3. In Weeks 2 and 4, he had a combined 102 total yards from scrimmage and no scores.

Fantasy football analysis of Colts RB Marlon Mack

Mack has been inconsistent, but is still a guy you’d want to regularly have in your fantasy lineup. A matchup with the Chiefs in Week 5 would bring a need for the Colts to control the ball and slow things down. If things got ugly, there could be problems, but this could prove an ideal matchup for Mack to get back in the positive side of things.

Jordan Wilkins got some work after Mack got hurt, and while Nyheim Hines also got some carries on Sunday, he is still more of a passing down back.
