How to handle Tyrell Williams’ injury in Week 7 fantasy football

The Raiders receiver is out this week against the Packers. We’re here to help you plan accordingly.

Editor’s note: Here’s the latest on Tyrell Williams heading into Week 8

The Oakland Raiders will not have wide receiver Tyrell Williams this week when they travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Williams is out as he deals with a foot injury. He missed practice all week too, and could be in a situation where this becomes an issue beyond Week 7.

Williams has developed a nice weekly floor for his fantasy line. He’s scored a touchdown in every game he’s played this season. Unfortunately, he hasn’t played since Week 4, dealing with the same foot injury that will sideline him again this week.

Oakland really isn’t as bad as we thought they’d be, but this week’s game will be a tough one. And the receiver depth beyond Williams is nothing special, to put it kindly.

With Williams out, tight end Darren Waller should be Derek Carr’s top receiving option. He’s worth your attention this week. The receivers behind Williams on the depth chart aren’t the kind of guys you can count on for production, especially against a Packers defense that is pretty effective at shutting down passing games this year.
