Week 8 of the 2019 NFL season has arrived, and that means we are entering the back half of the regular season for fantasy football leagues. Decisions grow in importance as the playoff push continues. We’re here to offer a look at the wide receiver position in PPR leagues and who to consider in Week 8.
Not only did DeAndre Hopkins go off in Week 7 for his best game since Week 1, but injuries and matchup make him the top-overall WR play this week. He’s facing a Raiders secondary that got shredded by the Packers last week, and the absence of Will Fuller to a hamstring injury should mean more targets for D-Hop. Michael Thomas remains an elite play regardless of if Drew Brees returns or Teddy Bridgewater remains at the helm. Stefon Diggs also jumps out, as he figures to be the top WR without Adam Thielen, who’s battling injury on a short week.
