Full list of Week 8 predictions

We’re back for Week 8 of the 2019 NFL season! By the time this weekend of football concludes, 17 of the 32 teams will have completed the first half of their regular season schedule. Time is flying!

Tonight, we get a potentially less than stellar Thursday Night Football matchup. The Minnesota Vikings host Washington, and it’s a pair of teams on the far ends of the NFL spectrum. Minnesota is 5-2 and sitting a game back of Green Bay in the NFC North. Kirk Cousins is looking better and better each week, and they’re rolling right now. Meanwhile, Washington is 1-6 and showing little each week. They’re in the thick of the race for the top draft pick, and it’s hard to see that changing much for them.

I’m back once again with my weekly NFL picks. For Thursday I put together a complete list of straight up picks, and Sunday morning I’ll have my picks against the spread given how much can change between now and then. I’ll have a TNF pick against the spread later this morning.

We still have two undefeated teams in the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots. Both are home in Week 8, but while the Patriots are near two touchdown favorites against the Cleveland Browns, the 49ers are only a 5.5-point favorite against Kyle Allen and the Carolina Panthers. The battle for the top pick continues, with the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to face the Los Angeles Rams, and the Miami Dolphins somehow getting a Monday Night Football date against the 2-4 Pittsburgh Steelers. Week 8 does not exactly book-end with quality matchups.
