The Los Angeles Chargers can’t avoid injuries to save their lives and the latest is a big one. Wide receiver Keenan Allen was added to the Week 8 injury report on Thursday with a hamstring injury. He had not appeared on Wednesday’s report, but was a DNP on Thursday. The Chargers have one more practice this week for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy football analysis, Chargers WR Keenan Allen

Mike Williams is healthy, so if Allen is not 100 percent or sits out, Williams stands to benefit. There’s not much else to get excited about beyond that. Last week, Allen and Williams were the only wide receivers to be targeted. If Allen doesn’t play, Hunter Henry, Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler, and even Virgil Green are all upgraded in terms of volume. Chicago’s defense is scuffling right now. All except Green look like intriguing fantasy options, regardless of Allen’s health.
