Matt Moore gets the start, and he’s a capable backup option. He’s got big weapons in Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, but the Packers pass defense remains strong — ranking sixth in defensive efficiency. The run defense, on the other hand, ranks 19th and is something head coach Andy Reid is going to look to attack on Sunday.
Running back Damien Williams entered the season as the No. 1 back, but LeSean McCoy has emerged as the go-to guy. Williams missed time early in the season, and it opened the door for McCoy who has not given it up. Now with both healthy, McCoy is getting more of the work. Last week against Denver, McCoy had 12 rushing attempts and two receptions while Williams had nine rushing attempts and two receptions. Darrel Williams had two rushing attempts and two receptions.
Fantasy football analysis, Chiefs RBs LeSean McCoy, Damien Williams
The Packers defense is giving up the fourth most fantasy points to the running back position, while only the seventh fewest to quarterbacks. Moore will have to make plays in the passing game for Kansas City to win this game, but the ground game is what will likely keep this game close.
McCoy is getting more work right now and seems to be the better start with Damien Williams. Darrel Williams is the clear third wheel. You’ll want to start McCoy and sit Damien if you have both. If you only have Damien, he is a better sit, but it will depend on your existing roster depth.
