The Minnesota Vikings returned to practice on Wednesday for their Week 9 matchup at the Kansas City Chiefs, and they welcomed back a big name. Wide receiver Adam Thielen practiced in limited fashion for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.

Thielen was a DNP for all three Week 8 practices, but it sounded like he was getting close to returning. A few extra days after Week 8 Thursday Night Football got him right and this practice bodes well for him playing on Sunday against the Chiefs.

Bisi Johnson got some extra work in his place. He had two receptions for 27 yards last week against Washington, and four receptions for 40 yards the week before when Thielen got hurt in the first quarter.

Fantasy football analysis: Vikings WRs Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Bisi Johnson

Thielen has been the team’s leading receiver, but Diggs has regained his form the past three weeks. Diggs and Thielen are must starts against the Chiefs. Johnson will get some targets, but he loses value and is not worth starting this week. Tight end Kyle Rudolph showed some life the past two weeks, but you have to wonder if he loses some targets with Thielen’s return.
