The Indianapolis Colts travel to face a shaky Pittsburgh Steelers defense, and Indy has questions surrounding their biggest weapon. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was listed on Wednesday as a limited participant due to chest injury, and on Thursday, he was downgraded to DNP. The Colts have one more practice before they travel to Pittsburgh.
The injury is a new one that was not mentioned following the Colts Week 8 win over the Denver Broncos. Hilton played in 94 percent of the team’s snaps, finishing with two catches for 54 yards while being targeted six times.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
Hilton’s status will be one to watch given the unexpected nature of this addition. He’s a must start every week, but if he is out, that boosts the value of Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers at wide receiver. Neither did much last week, combining for two catches and 13 yards. In reality, Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron are potentially the biggest beneficiaries of the Colts receivers and tight ends. And of course, Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines will see plenty of work.
But let’s see what the Friday injury report says.
