The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to get running back James Conner in their lineup this Sunday when they face the Baltimore Ravens. Conner sat out Week 5 practices on Wednesday and Thursday, but practice on Friday and said he expects to play on Sunday, according to Steelers reporter Brooke Pryor.

In Week 4, Conner rushed for 42 yards and led the team with eight receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. He did not seem to get hurt, but showed up on the injury report early in the week.

Fantasy football analysis, Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner

Mason Rudolph is a big fan of short passes, with most of his work last week coming short of the sticks. Conner was a huge beneficiary in Week 4, and he would stand to benefit again in Week 5 against the Ravens. Baltimore’s defense remains talented but has been shaky and offers a nice matchup for Conner and the Steelers. He’ll likely be a game-time decision, but with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff, owners will be able to make a decision early.
