Christian Kirk will not be on the field this week. The Arizona Cardinals ruled him out because of an ankle injury he suffered late in last week’s game against the Seahawks.
It’s too bad for Kirk and the Cardinals. He had the chance to put up big numbers against a Bengals team that’s lost all four of its games so far this season. But there is some good news — this does not appear to be a long-term injury. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said earlier this week that he believes Kirk will be available for the team’s Week 6 game against the Falcons.
Kirk’s off to a great start this season, rolling up 242 yards through the first four weeks of the season.
Fantasy football analysis, Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk
Without Kirk, the ageless Larry Fitzgerald should only add to his team-leading totals in receiving yards. Be patient. Kirk is an integral part of the offense. Only five other receivers in the entire league have been targeted more.
