As always, Will Fuller is a big play waiting to happen. The only problem is, we’ve yet to see such a thing take place through four games in 2019, and, without those chunk plays, Fuller’s been an incredibly underwhelming asset. The Notre Dame product has been limited to fewer than 11.0 PPR points in each and every contest this season, with his 0.13 PPR fantasy points per snap sitting as the lowest mark of the 53 wide receivers with at least 20 targets to their name. Efficiency isn’t exactly Fuller’s calling card, and that trait has left the wideout in a particularly poor slump as he waits to find the end zone for the first time this campaign.

However, the Falcons present an interesting opportunity. Atlanta doesn’t rank toward the bottom of any volume-based statistical categories when it comes to their secondary, but that’s more about scheduling than defensive philosophy. With matchups against the run-heavy Vikings and Titans already in their rear view mirror, the Falcons have only allowed 61 targets to opposing WRs through the opening four weeks of the season — the fifth-lowest figure in football. Yet, Atlanta also sits as one of just six teams currently surrendering more than 10 yards per attempt to the position. Its possible that they simply were not tested enough in September.

Fantasy Football Analysis, Houston Texans WR Will Fuller

One of these weeks, Fuller’s going to break out in a big way, but I’m just not sure its this Sunday. The former first-round pick has the third-highest qualified aDOT among wide receivers (17.3 yards) and has racked up the 12th most air yards at his position entering Week 5. Still, its difficult to predict exactly when Fuller produces and the presence of Desmond Trufant doesn’t help his case much, either. You’re always finding a way to roll him out in standard formats; however, I’m not enthused by Fuller’s prospects this weekend.
