The Pittsburgh Steelers will have wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster ACTIVE for Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams. Smith-Schuster was an unexpected addition to the injury report on Friday with a foot injury and was listed as questionable. Over the weekend we heard he was expected to play, and this officially confirms it 90 minutes before kickoff.
Fantasy football analysis: Steelers wide receivers
It’s been difficult getting excited about the Steelers passing game with Mason Rudolph helming it. Last week against the Colts, running back Jaylen Samuels led the team with 13 receptions for 73 yards. Wide receiver James Washington had four receptions for 69 yards, Smith-Schuster had three receptions for 16 yards, and Diontae Johnson had one reception for three yards.
The Steelers face a stout Rams pass defense, and it’s hard to justify starting any of these guys. JuJu makes the most sense as the top guy, but banged up as he is, expectations are lowered more than they already were. You’re best suited not starting any of the three, but if you’re shorthanded and were counting on JuJu, stick with him. It will be interesting to see if Washington gets another edge on him in targets, or if JuJu moves back into the top spot.
Regardless, running back Jaylen Samuels remains a strong PPR play.
