Second half update: It’s safe to say Hill is fine. He has ten receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown in this game. Not too shabby. I think the shoulder is OK.
Update: Tyreek Hill has returned to the field. Kansas City fans and his fantasy backers can take a breath.
Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill was tackled after a good catch and run and landed hard on his left shoulder just before halftime. At first blush, it appears he could have aggravated his collarbone injury that kept him out early in the season. He did bounce back up and sprint to the sideline, according to James Palmer. We’ll see if he returns to action in the next Chiefs series.
Hill had been dominating early with seven receptions for 96 yards. If he can’t return, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman will try to pick up the slack. Travis Kelce will remain the top target for Patrick Mahomes, who just returned from his own injury.
