The Seattle Seahawks claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon off waivers from the New England Patriots ten days ago, and he is set to make his debut in Week 10. The team announced their inactives for Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers, and Gordon is ACTIVE.
Gordon was dealing with a knee injury when New England waived him, but that was expected to clear up in short order. He passed his physical last week, but then showed up on the Week 10 injury report with an ankle issue. By Saturday, he was a full participant in practice and was removed from the final injury report.
Fantasy football analysis: Seahawks WR Josh Gordon
Gordon will get some targets, but it’s hard to say exactly what his opportunities will look like in his debut. We don’t know his chemistry with Russell Wilson, and we know Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf have built-in rapport with the Seahawks QB.
Gordon will likely develop into a solid presence, but for Week 10, it’s best to sit him and take a wait and see approach with the receiver.
