The Atlanta Falcons got a huge emotional win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 10, but it came at a cost. The Falcons lost tight end Austin Hooper to a knee injury and running back Devonta Freeman to a foot sprain. Freeman had an MRI on Monday, and it revealed he would miss approximately two weeks with what apparently will impact the toe more than foot, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

Freeman left the game in the third quarter after rushing ten times for 38 yards and caught three passes for ten yards. Brian Hill replaced him in the backfield and the game script opened up a big opportunity for the backup. He rushed 20 times for 61 yards and had a ten-yard touchdown catch.

Fantasy football analysis: Falcons RBs Devonta Freeman, Brian Hill

Whether you have Devonta Freeman or not, if you need some running back depth, Hill is a good option on your waiver wire. He’ll likely be one of the top players picked, but even if you’re on the back end of priority, you might as well put in a claim.

Hill has a quality matchup in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have given up the fifth most fantasy points to the running back position and just got run over by Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. He’s a solid start if you’re able to add him.
