Top 25 D/ST rankings for Week 11 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best D/STs going in Week 11 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

The Patriots D/ST still leads the league in fantasy points by a wide margin, with the 49ers and Steelers on their tail. The Ravens have come on strong with 53 FP in their last three games compared to 20 in their first six games. The Jets scored 18 FP last week against the Giants and had scored 14 total in their previous five. When I hear people say that kickers need to be banned from fantasy football, I usually say, okay, but take D/ST’s with them.

Sacks and interceptions, punt return touchdowns, and pick-sixes are super fun, and I’m happy to have them in fantasy, but they are a pain in the posterior to predict.

D/ST Ranking Tiers

Tier 1

The Rams host Mitch Trubisky and his dysfunctional offense this week. That game could get ugly on both sides of the ball. Picking on first start quarterbacks doesn’t always work, as we saw with the Browns last week against Brandon Allen, but that doesn’t mean you don’t give it another try this week with the Vikings at home against Allen. Ryan Fitzpatrick, against the Bills steady secondary, could get intercepty. It seems like any defense could cause Jameis Winston to turnover the ball multiple times, and this week he faces a good one in the Saints.

Tier 2

We’re still waiting to see if Matthew Stafford plays or not, but if he doesn’t, the Cowboys make for a good play against Jeff Driskel. The Patriots on the road in Philadelphia is still worth a play, but their range of outcomes isn’t what it has been this season. Jared Goff can’t handle pressure, so the Bears have a shot to force mistakes in L.A.

D/ST Streamers

The Raiders defense looked the best they have all season against the Chargers last week, and now they take on the winless Bengals.

The Jets get to take on rookie Dwayne Haskins behind a weak offensive line, and Washington faces Sam Darnold, who has imploded often of late.
