Top NBA DFS value options to consider on DraftKings for Nov. 13

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Kyle Kuzma lead the list of top bargains for tonight’s seven-game NBA slate. We break down all your value options here.

With how much value is shaping up on tonight’s seven-game slate, it could be a “Stars and Scrubs” kind of night. Or maybe we’ll throw in a Cannonball Stack or two. Either way, we’ll save some of those for later. For now, let’s look at some of the top value plays opening up with a ton of injuries and narratives to track.

Editor’s Note: Anthony Davis (ribs, shoulder) has been ruled out for tonight’s game vs. the Warriors, per Chris B. Haynes. Joel Embiid (rest) is also out.

Point Guard

Isaiah Thomas, WAS at BOS, $4,900 — How can I not start with an IT revenge game in Boston? Thomas was shipped to Cleveland by the Celtics in the Kyrie Irving trade after giving his heart and soul to the city. He came back briefly but didn’t play much, so now with the Wiz, expect a lot of cheers for IT tonight. Emotional spot and low price. Just how I like it.

Quinn Cook, LAL vs. GSW, $3,100 — Oh hey, another revenge game! Honestly this might as well just be a narratives watch article. Cook will face the Dubs after spending the past two seasons with Golden State. Rajon Rondo is out for the Lakers tonight, so Cook should see some more run at PG. Also helps this game could be a blowout, so garbage time Cook is in play.

Shooting Guard

Norman Powell, TOR at POR, $4,900 — The Raptors are down three regulars: Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka and OG Anunoby. Powell has been starting at SG and Toronto doesn’t really have any options behind him. Big minutes at sub-$5K pricing is always sweet.

Jordan Poole, GSW at LAL, $4,000 — What’s great about rookies seeing increased playing time due to injuries? Game script doesn’t matter. The Lakers could destroy the Warriors tonight and Poole would probably still play at least 25 minutes because, well, he has to. LA may be shorthanded and I like Poole’s aggressiveness on offense.

Small Forward

Miles Bridges, CHA vs. MEM, $4,900 — For some reason the price makers at DraftKings dropped a bunch of Hornets down when the Grizzlies are a great matchup. Bridges has a wide range of playing time — anywhere from 25 to 38 in some games — but that’s perfect for a bargain GPP spot. The high pace should help Bridges get a handful of looks from outside.

P.J. Tucker, HOU vs. LAC, $4,700 — I think we’re going to get a playoff atmosphere tonight in Clippers-Rockets, especially if Paul George returns. Eric Gordon is sidelined and Houston lacks depth, so Tucker could see upward of 36-38 minutes with more open 3-pointers created from James Harden and Russell Westbrook kicks.

Power Forward

Jaren Jackson, MEM at CHA, $4,800 — I think Grizz-Hornets is a sneaky good game stack. Jackson is coming off back-to-back performances of at least 32 DKFP, scorign 44 in his last contest vs. the Spurs. Charlotte ranks in the bottom five in rebounding rate and 28th in rebound differential (-4.1).

Kyle Kuzma, LAL vs. GSW, $4,100 — Kuz will likely be the chalk play of the night. At this price in this matchup vs. the Dubs, it’s insane his price went down $500 from last night. If Anthony Davis sits out, Kuzma is a mortal lock. If AD plays, Kuzma is still a strong play as he finds his game coming off injury.

Center

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, TOR at POR, $4,500 — Like I said in the Powell blurb, the Raptors are shorthanded and will likely go with a nine-man rotation tonight in Portland. RHJ could see upwards of 30 minutes and is in a strong spot with the Trail Blazers on the second of a back-to-back.

Chris Boucher, TOR at POR, $4,300 — If you’re looking to pivot off of RHJ and Kuzma because of ownership, Boucher is the way to go. He’s actually produced more than Hollis-Jefferson the past two games with 28 combined points and eight rebounds, averaging 28 DKFP per contest.
