A.J. Green still not practicing at start of Week 11

John Ross might play before A.J. Green at this rate.

The Cincinnati Bengals have returned to practice for Week 11, and the status of wide receiver A.J. Green remains unchanged. Green was a DNP at practice due to his ankle injury, according to team reporter Marisa Contipelli.

Green got in limited work in Week 8 before being ruled out for that game. Following the bye, the hope was that he would ramp things up and be be able to play in Week 10. However, he had swelling in his ankle during the team’s first walkthrough of the week and he did not practice the rest of the week.

The Bengals did welcome John Ross back to practice while he continues working to get off injured reserve. He is not eligible to play until Week 14, but at the current rate, he might play before Green.

Fantasy football analysis: Bengals WR A.J. Green

It might be time to call it a day if you have Green in your fantasy league. He could still come back, but he’d likely be fairly rusty and be looking at a slow return. If you can afford to stash him, so be it. If you cannot and need a roster spot for waiver priority, feel free to release Green.
