The Jacksonville Jaguars return from their bye this week, and they are expected to welcome back a playmaker on offense. Wide receiver Dede Westbrook was a full participant at practice on Wednesday, according to Jordan de Lugo. He sat out the team’s pre-bye London game with Houston after injuring himself after only one target the week before.
Fantasy football analysis: Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook
Westbrook would appear to be on track to play on Sunday. The week prior to his injury he had a season-high 103 yards on six receptions. Two weeks prior to that he had a season-high seven receptions for 82 yards. He has been inconsistent this season, but he’s a guy Gardner Minshew worked to target with regularity of late.
The Jaguars’ switch back to Nick Foles at quarterback raises all sorts of questions for Westbrook, D.J. Chark, and all the other pass catchers. Westbrook is probably a flex play at best this week until we see where things stand for him in this offense with Foles at the helm.
