Top NBA DFS value options to consider on DraftKings for Nov. 14

Injuries in Brooklyn and New Orleans look to be the best spots to capitalize on for tonight’s five-game slate. We take you through some bargain options to save salary on DraftKings.

Editor’s Note: Paul George will make his Clippers debut tonight vs. the Pelicans. Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley will both rest.

We’ve got a few spots to monitor in terms of value on tonight’s five-game slate. The Nets could be without PG Kyrie Irving (shoulder) and the Pelicans could be missing SF/PF Brandon Ingram (knee) again. Plus Jahlil Okafor (ankle) is questionable and oh yeah, that Kawhi Leonard fellow could have his load managed vs. the Pelicans. Either way, we should have a handful of value options open up as a result, so let’s sift through some of them, shall we?

Point Guard

Delon Wright, DAL at NYK, $3,800 — We aren’t cashing in on any injuries here, but I think the Mavericks should take care of the Knicks at The Garden. If that’s the case, garbage time is where Wright should shine, though the backup guard has been seeing consistent minutes off the bench anyway. More scoring is all we need here since Wright’s peripheral stats are solid (3.6 boards, 3.7 assists per game).

Shooting Guard

Gary Harris, DEN vs. BKN, $4,700 — I’m going back to the Gary Harris well tonight vs. the Nets. His price is only up $200 and the Nuggets continue to struggle on offense, which only keeps Harris and the team in closer games. Earlier in the week vs. Atlanta, Harris played 40 minutes! Mike Malone is a nutcase and the rotation is essentially five-man. As long as Harris remains cheap, I’m rolling him out.

J.J. Redick, NOP vs. LAC, $4,500 — We’ve got some revenge narrative here with Redick facing the Clippers and we know the injury situation. With Josh Hart (ankle, knee) ruled out already, New Orleans’ backcourt is down to Jrue Holiday and Redick. This game has an insanely high implied total at 235.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Ripe for fantasy points.

Small Forward

Kenrich Williams, NOP vs. LAC, $4,500 — Again, the total on this game is nuts and the injuries open things up for a bunch of value. Redick, Williams and a few others are where to turn. I like Williams since his ownership will be lower compared to Redick and Derrick Favors ($5,500). Plus, with Ingram out Monday, Williams played 38 minutes.

Power Forward

Jarrett Allen, BKN at DEN, $4,200 — I’m actually upset Allen fell from grace a bit with Brooklyn. His career started out promising, but now he’s more of an afterthought with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in town. If Irving sits, I like Allen’s spot against a less athletic frontcourt in Denver. Nikola Jokic has defended well, but he’s also out of shape. Paul Millsap is old. If Allen can get some more minutes, maybe more usage with Irving out, his spot is solid.

Center

Mitchell Robinson, NYK vs. DAL, $4,500 — Somebody tell David Fizdale to play this man! Robinson enters tonight questionable, but if he return to the lineup, I’d expect he sees a normal workload. The Mavs play at a high pace and Robinson would be needed to contain former Knick Kristaps Porzingis.
