The Philadelphia Eagles might be without running back Jordan Howard in Week 11 due to a stinger injury. Howard suffered the injury in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears, and still has not been cleared for contact, per NFL Network reporter Michael Giardi.

Howard has been a limited participant in practice each of the past two days, but has had to wear the non-contact jersey. He will likely be listed as questionable at best if he is not cleared on the final day of practice. Head coach Doug Pederson described him as iffy before practice, per beat writer Jeff McLane.

Fantasy football analysis: Eagles RB Jordan Howard

If Howard sits, Miles Sanders will get the start against a shaky Patriots run defense. The Patriots pass defense has been mostly lights out (prior to Lamar Jackson), but their run defense has been closer to the middle of the pack. In the game prior to the bye, Sanders had ten rushes for 42 yards and three receptions for 31 yards. He’ll be a solid start given the kind of volume he’ll get.

The Eagles placed Darren Sproles on injured reserve Friday morning, so Boston Scott is the only other healthy running back on the roster. They will likely add a running back over the weekend, potentially promoting De’Angelo Henderson from the practice squad.
