Houston Texans quarterback DeShaun Watson was sacked in the final minute of the second quarter of Week 12 and appeared to roll his ankle. He took a knee and the trainers came out but Watson was able to continue playing. The Texans burned a timeout which meant Watson did not have to leave the game.
Watson is 10 of 15 for 102 yards and 12 rushing yards in the first half. Watson threw a 15-yard pass to Jordan Akins on the next play after he rolled his ankle. The Texans subsequently missed a field goal attempt and the Texans trail 14-0 at halftime in Baltimore. Watson appears to be good to go to finish the game.
UPDATE: Watson kept playing into the third quarter, and it’s been one of the worst games of Watson’s career. He has completed 12 of 21 passes for 126 yards with one interception. His mobility is clearly not the same and he can’t get much of anything going with his passes.
