The Indianapolis Colts sound optimistic that T.Y. Hilton has improved his chances of playing in Week 12. Hilton has been out since Week 8 with a calf injury and has not hit the practice field thus far. On Monday, head coach Frank Reich said Hilton, “has ramped up his rehab work and has made great progress,” per beat writer Stephen Holder.
The Colts are traveling to face the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football, which means a shortened work week. We’ll get a practice participation report Monday afternoon, but it will be simulated. The team just played on Sunday and will not have their first practice until Tuesday. The Tuesday report will be the one to tell us if Hilton is on track to play on Thursday.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
You’re best suited assuming Hilton won’t play and then being pleasantly surprised if he actually is active. It’s a great matchup for Hilton if he can play, but a short week turnaround after not practicing for three straight weeks. That Tuesday report will tell us more of what we need to know.
