The Los Angeles Rams host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12 on Monday Night Football, and head coach Sean McVay is hoping his offense gets a key weapon back. McVay told the media on Monday that he expects wide receiver Brandin Cooks to return for the game, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cooks has missed two straight games following the team’s bye week after suffering a concussion in Week 8. There have been concerns about Cooks’ recovery, but it would appear he is progressing through the concussion protocol. The team will release their first practice participation report on Thursday.
Fantasy football analysis: Rams WR Brandin Cooks
The Ravens are a tough matchup and Jared Goff is not playing particularly well, so anybody after Cooper Kupp has limited upside. Robert Woods was an unexpected scratch in Week 11 because of a personal issue, and his status for Week 12 is unclear. If Cooks and Woods are both playing, Goff’s value increases a bit, but Cooks or Woods would be shaky fantasy starts against Baltimore.
For now, we’ll just wait and see what Thursday’s report brings and how it progresses into the weekend.
