A hamstring injury forced Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill from their matchup with the Chargers on Monday Night Football. Hill will get an MRI in “the next day or so” according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Kansas City has a bye in Week 12, which is great for Hill’s ability to rest and recover but hamstring injuries are known to linger and reoccur if not given enough time to heal. We should know in the next couple of days how severe the injury is, but when dealing with Chiefs’ receivers, you can’t wait too long to pick up their replacement in fantasy.
Mecole Hardman only saw four targets with Hill out for much of Monday night but he played the second-most wide receiver snaps and led the wide receivers in targets. He is your pickup this week in case Hill can’t play in Week 13. And there is a bonus prize for Hardman, as he would face a Raiders secondary that gives up big passing plays by the dozen.
