A.J. Green doesn’t care about your fantasy football team

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has been sidelined since early in training camp with a torn ligament in his ankle. The Bengals return to practice on Wednesday to prepare for Week 12 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers and odds are pretty good Green will not be practicing once again.

Fantasy football owners are trying to figure out what to do, and naturally some decide to let out their frustrations on Green. Earlier this week, Green posted a birthday wish on Instagram to his wife. One of the first comments was not the kindest:

Can you figure out if you’re going to@fucking play or not?? Kept you on my bench all year and you just keep fucking me

Green was having none of that, replying with a simple “don’t care.”

Let these be yet another reminder that you really shouldn’t spend your days complaining to NFL players about how they are messing up your fantasy football team. Some actually do express interest in people’s teams, but most don’t.

Green will be back when he gets back. If you are unhappy using a roster spot on him, then just release him and be done with it. It likely won’t have a big impact on your chances of winning a fantasy championship.
