JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered both knee and head injuries last Thursday against the Browns and won’t suit up this week

ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler reports that JuJu Smith-Schuster won’t suit up Sunday to take on the Bengals. He suffered both a knee injury and concussion that will be too much to overcome by the weekend.

Smith-Schuster’s knee injury doesn’t appear serious enough to keep Smith-Schuster out for long according to Fowler. The combination of injuries is likely the main factor that leads to the team shutting him down for this week.

Pittsburgh suffered multiple injuries in that Thursday night game along with suspensions and fines. James Conner doesn’t look good to play this week and Diontae Johnson is also in the concussion protocol. According to Adam Schefter, it would be a “mild upset” to see either play this week.

With Smith-Schuster and possibly Johnson out, James Washington and Johnny Holton would see a boost in work. Washington would be the best fantasy play of the group in that scenario.
