Best daily fantasy football TE plays over $4,000 in Week 12

Options at the high end are limited this week, but Zach Ertz looks like a terrific play at $6K

In NFL DFS, if you’re going to spend up, you must be sure you’ll be getting bang for your buck. For example, a player worth $6,000 who scores 24 points has quadrupled, or 4Xed, their salary, which can send you zooming up the standings. Those are the guys we want throughout the lineup. Here are our best tight end plays with salaries over $4,000 at DraftKings for Week 12.

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks ($6,000)

If you have the extra salary to spend up at tight end this week, your choices are a bit limited. Only 6 of the 8 tight ends above $4K on DK are active on Sunday, with Austin Hooper and Even Engram ruled out. The highest-priced tight end remaining is Ertz, who has been coming on the past two weeks, with lines of 9-103-1 and 9-94. He has 11 targets in each of those games, taking advantage of injuries to Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson. The Seahawks are among the worst teams in the league at stopping the tight end, so Ertz should continue to pile up targets and catches.

Jacob Hollister, Seahawks at Eagles ($4,300)

The Seahawks have been masterful at finding hidden tight end gems. First, it was Will Dissly, who dominated the early weeks of the season. When Dissly went down with an injury, Hollister stepped into the breech and has been nothing short of dominant himself the past two weeks. The former New England Patriot – bet they’d like to have him back – has 12 catches for 99 yards and three touchdowns the past two games.

Ryan Griffin, New York Jets vs. Oakland Raiders ($4,200)

He’s like Jason, or Mike Myers. He simply won’t go away. With Chris Herndon never able to make it to the field, Griffin has become a top target for Sam Darnold. He has 16 receptions and three touchdowns over the past four weeks. Last week, he hung a 5-109-1 on Washington. He’s not sexy, but he’s producing at a high level, and the Raiders always tend to under-perform on the East Coast in the 1 p.m. window.
