What to do with Josh Allen in Week 12 fantasy football

Coming off his best performance in 2019, can Allen shake off a tougher matchup vs. the Broncos? We break down whether you should play or fade the Bills QB this week.

It was a long wait, but we got peak Josh Allen in Week 11 vs. the Dolphins. Allen threw for 256 yards with three TDs, adding another 56 yards on the ground with one TD for 33.84 fantasy points in Miami. The Bills are really getting Allen going on the ground; he has four rushing TDs in the past three games. This is particularly nice if you’re rolling Allen out in fantasy football. He’s had back-to-back weeks over 25 FPTS and is hot heading into a home matchup vs. the Broncos, who blew a massive lead to the Vikings last Sunday.

Fantasy Football Analysis, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen

The way Allen is trending up and the Broncos are trending down tells me he’s in good shape for this week. We know how valuable QBs with rushing upside are and I already mentioned the TDs over the past three weeks for Allen. He’s attempted at least six rushes in each of the past four weeks, and while his passing ceiling is limited against a good Denver secondary, I think the Bills’ defense will give Allen some field position to take advantage of. I like Allen’s floor given the rushing upside and this matchup appears better than it is on paper.
