The New England Patriots are dealing with an assortment of injuries to their wide receiver corps heading into their Week 12 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. Mohamed Sanu is questionable with an ankle injury and could end up missing multiple weeks. Phillip Dorsett is recovering from a concussion, and while he appears to be progressing through the concussion protocol, he is still questionable for Sunday.
We can include Julian Edelman on this list as well. The Patriots leading receiver is questionable with a shoulder injury. He was listed as limited all week and this appears to be a new injury from Week 11.
Fantasy football analysis: Patriots WR Julian Edelman
Like other big name Patriots in recent years, it’s not a surprise to see Edelman listed as questionable every so often. We might be left waiting until Sunday afternoon for a firm answer on his status, but you can likely start Edelman with relative confidence.
If Edelman is banged up, it is possible we see a little more of N’Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers — especially with Mohamed Sanu a big question mark. The Cowboys have given up the third fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Edelman is a must start if active, but if Sanu is out, nobody else is a consistent enough option to start this weekend.
