After originally being expected to play against the Seahawks today, Alshon Jeffery is inactive for the Eagles. Joining him on the sidelines is fellow WR Nelson Agholor, which will leave Philly pretty thin at receiver in a strong matchup. Alshon and Agholor had both been having down seasons anyway. Jeffery hasn’t caught a TD since Week 6 and Agholor has been plagued by dropped balls all season.
Fantasy Football Analysis: Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers
With both Jeffery and Agholor out, Jordan Matthews, Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside will operate as the top three WRs for the Eagles and QB Carson Wentz. Matthews is just $3,500 on DraftKings, so he’d be a solid GPP and even viable cash-game option at this price. He should see at least 6-8 targets in a strong matchup. All three are decent options though on DK considering the Seahawks’ defense allows a ton of yards and points. Plus, Philly will most likely be forced to throw a lot to keep up with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense anyway.
