The Philadelphia Eagles might be extremely short-handed at wide receiver in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are both listed as questionable. National media were reporting Sunday morning that Jeffery looked good to play while Agholor likely would sit. Now, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting Jeffery might also sit. He tweeted that “it’s now iffy” with Jeffery.
Fantasy football analysis: Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery
Jeffery is the only Eagles wide receiver worth starting today if he’s active. If he and Agholor both sit, backup tight end Dallas Goedert would see a boost in value. He would turn into an intriguing starting option alongside Zach Ertz.
Even without Jeffery, it’s hard to justify starting any of Jordan Matthews, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Mack Hollins, or Greg Ward. Matthews would probably be the safest play if you are desperate, but your best bet is avoiding the entire group. The Seahawks defense isn’t great, but the Eagles would rely more on their tight ends and running backs.
