Yeah, there’s not a ton to unpack here. Not today! Sorry folks, but it looks like Patriots QB Tom Brady will be active for this afternoon’s game vs. the Cowboys at home. Reports had already come out previously that Brady’s elbow injury isn’t serious and that he’ll start today. But it’s nice to see the official status.
Fantasy Football Analysis: New England Patriots offense
So like I said, we were always operating under the assumption that Brady was going to be healthy and start. So not much changes with him being active. The Patriots offense to bounce back after two lackluster performances the past couple weeks. New England only scored 17 points in a win vs. the Eagles last week, and the Pats only posted 20 points in their lone loss to the Ravens.
Julian Edelman is also active with Brady, so both are in good spots in season long and you should act accordingly. Brady isn’t a must-start and the weather could play a factor in this one, so Brady is more of a fringe QB2 for me this week. In deeper leagues, he’s not a bad start, but shallow formats I’d say there are better options.
