Auden Tate active, A.J. Green inactive in Week 12

Bengals WR Auden Tate has worked his way back from a Week 11 concussion and will play in Week 12. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced their Week 12 inactive report, and wide receiver Auden Tate will be active against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tate suffered a concussion on a scary hit last week against the Oakland Raiders and was taken off the field on a stretcher. It’s wild how quickly he was able to recover from the scary looking injury.

Meanwhile, A.J. Green was ruled out on Friday, so he is inactive. The Bengals will be back with their usual starting lineup of Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate starting, and Alex Erickson coming in as the third receiver.

Fantasy football analysis: Bengals wide receivers

The Bengals are winless, but this is an intriguing matchup for their passing game. Boyd remains a solid PPR option, with some standard value as well. Erickson is a limited PPR option if you’re desperate, while Tate is a standard option if you’re desperate. There is moderate upside there, but ideally you can find someone better than Tate and/or Erickson.
