Baker Mayfield and the Browns offense are off to a blazing start over the Miami Dolphins. Just in to the second quarter and driving, Mayfield has completed 9-of-11 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Those touchdowns came on a seven yard pass to Jarvis Landry, as he takes on his old team and to Odell Beckham Jr. for 35 yards. He’s also complete chunk gains to Nick Chubb, who has two receptions for 54 yards.
The Browns haven’t lived up to their fantasy hype this year but there’s no doubt they have the personnel to score and score quickly. A matchup with the tanking Dolphins has gotten that offense churning early.
UPDATE
Baker Mayfield continues his onslaught, this time he ends up throwing into double coverage looking for Landry and the Dolphins former receiver went up to make a terrific grab between defenders. That pushes Mayfield up to three touchdowns thrown just minutes into the second quarter and Landry with four receptions for 32 yards and two touchdowns.
