Patriots have a ridiculous record when they lead at halftime

Dallas might be in trouble.

The New England Patriots head into halftime leading the Dallas Cowboys 10-6, and the FOX Sports graphic crew wanted to make sure you knew what that meant. They posted a graphic showing the Patriots record when leading at halftime in home games since Gillette Stadium opened. They are 98-1. Their only loss was September 7, 2017 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

New England led that game 17-14 at the half, and then were outscored 28-10 the rest of the way. People thought the Patriots dynasty was officially on notice, but they’ve bounced back OK.

The Patriots are favorites against Dallas, but it’s worth noting kicker Nick Folk has missed two field goals. If they do lose, those kicks would likely prove pretty key. But given how the Patriots have performed after halftime, odds are not exactly in the Cowboys’ favor.
