The NFL wraps up Week 12 Sunday with a huge playoff picture matchup on Sunday Night Football. The 49ers host the Packers with the winner claiming the top seed in the NFC for the time being. The loser drops into a tie in their division, with the 49ers dropping into second by virtue of a head-to-head loss to Seattle. It’s a big one heading into Thanksgiving week.
We’ve got some notable names on the 49ers injury report. George Kittle, Emmanuel Sanders, and Deebo Samuel are all questionable but expected to play. Inactives are due at 6:50 p.m. This is more about the matchups than anything else, with the Packers and 49ers defenses both struggling against opposing running backs. Aaron Jones and Tevin Coleman will be worth watching.
Matchups are key, but it helps to see what the analytics are saying about potential performances. Looking at ESPN fantasy projections for season-long leagues (1/2 PPR setting), both quarterbacks top the matchup, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the running backs decide this thing.
Here are Week 12 SNF projections to help you further improve your fantasy chances!
