UPDATE: Henry finished the game with 159 rushing yards and two touchdowns and added a 16-yard reception in the Titans win.
The last time the Jaguars defense met Derrick Henry, he carried the ball 17 times for 238 yards and four touchdowns. After that level of embarrassing beatdown, you would think Jacksonville would do everything in their power to slow him down. Well, maybe they did, but it didn’t work.
Henry hasn’t quite lived up to his 14 yards per carry from last year, but he hasn’t disappointed his fantasy backers either. Through three-quarters, he’s run the ball 17 times for 152 yards and two touchdowns, to help the Titans to a commanding 35-11 lead.
Those two touchdowns resulted from a 74-yard touchdown run that was followed up by fumbled kick return which gave Henry a shot from the seven yard line, which he took in for his second touchdown in 20 seconds. He becomes the first player since Ladainian Tomlinson to accomplish that feat.
