The NFL heads into the holiday season with the annual Thanksgiving tripleheader coming up in a few days. We get the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys in their respective matchups, as tradition dictates, and a fun hate match to close the night.
The Lions host the Chicago Bears and have opened at DraftKings Sportsbook as one-point favorites. The line opened before Detroit embarrassed themselves against Washington in Week 12. The Bears beat the Giants 19-14, and I suspect this is either a pick ‘em or the Bears are a slim favorite when the line re-opens.
The Dallas Cowboys host the Buffalo Bills in the 4:30 p.m. game. The Cowboys opened as a touchdown favorite, but that line will likely change if they don’t get anything more going on offense against the Patriots. Dallas currently trails 10-6 in the third quarter. The Bills beat Denver 20-3 in the early slate.
Thanksgiving closes with the Atlanta Falcons hosting the New Orleans Saints in the 8:20 p.m. slot. New Orleans opened as a 4.5-point favorite. I don’t expect that line to change a whole lot, but I could see it moving up to five or 5.5 points when it re-opens.
