Ryan Tannehill turning into a fantasy football machine

Didn’t see Ryan Tannehill turning the Titans around in 2019.

Apparently leaving Miami was just what the doctor ordered for quarterback Ryan Tannehill. After four strong starts for the Tennessee Titans, Tannehill put up a monstrous performance in his fifth start. Facing a shaky Jacksonville Jaguars defense, Tannehill threw thrown for 259 yards and two touchdowns, and added 40 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. He’s currently at 33.36 DraftKings fantasy points, which is the sixth best performance of the day.

Tannehill replaced Marcus Mariota in Week 6, and has not looked back. He is signed through 2020, and one has to imagine he has a real shot of replacing Mariota permanently in Tennessee.

The Titans improved to 4-1 in Tannehill’s five starts. The Titans now sit one game back of the Houston Texans in the AFC South, and tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, and Indianapolis Colts for the second wild card berth.

This race is getting mighty interesting. Who knew Ryan Tannehill would make it happen!
